20/04/2022 – 21/04/2022 / FINAL CONFERENCE (ONLINE)
Differentiated integration and flexibility have been part of the European integration project since its early days, and differentiation will remain a necessity if the EU is to deal with its manifold internal and external challenges. This is even more valid following the Russian aggression on Ukraine, making it imperative to improve the functioning of the European integration project amid persistent fragmentation and divergence while simultaneously strengthening the EU’s strategic role and contribution to a future European security order.
This Conference will present the EU IDEA project’s results and discuss the theme of differentiation and integration among researchers from the EU IDEA consortium, composed of 15 EU and non-EU think tanks and universities, along with prominent EU representatives, practitioners, experts, researchers and journalists.
